Good Day Workshop thrives because of the women and men who choose to make a difference in their own lives by committing themselves to this program where they transform old furniture to something beautiful and useful as they experience a sense of accomplishment and worth.
The affirmation of hundreds of customers who have supported GDW over the years is a testament to the valuable service that these women and men have provided to the citizens of the Ottawa area.

Come and see what we are about and meet our participants who are proud to show you their skills.
Come and Bring
Come and bring us your furniture to be stripped, sanded, refinished, caned, upholstered, or repaired in the Workshop.
Come and Buy
Come and buy from The Parlour - this showroom of repaired and refinished 'period' furniture gives the customer an opportunity to support our programs by purchasing this furniture and our services.
This Social Enterprise accepts donations of period furniture or unique pieces, the proceeds of which assist in purchasing supplies for our workshop. We are grateful for donations and the generosity of our supporters.
